In today’s video I’m sharing an update on my little project pan box — basically, the makeup I’ve been trying to use up (or at least hit pan on). I’ll be the first to admit I’m not as hardcore as some project panners, mostly because I don’t do my makeup every single day, so progress is slower. But I did fully finish one product: the Laura Mercier Translucent Honey Pressed Setting Powder. It wasn’t my absolute favourite overall, but it was genuinely great for on-the-go touch-ups because it gave a tiny bit of coverage. I also go through a bunch of palettes and powders where I’ve made visible progress: two Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit palettes (with pans showing on setting powders, bronzers and highlighters), Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Superstar Glow (the pan is getting bigger, even though it’s massive), and the Charlotte Tilbury NudeGasm Face Palette (good progress… minus one shade that’s just a bit too dark/cool-toned for me). I talk about what’s realistically going to get finished, what shades I struggle with (hello bright pink blush), and which products I’d repurchase — like the NARS Soft Matte Advanced Perfecting Powder, which I love and would 100% buy again.
