In my January 2026 empties (aka the first empties of the year), I’m going through everything I actually used up—starting with the smelly stuff. I finished a few advent calendar candles, including one from the Mason advent, “Christmas Tree” by Jola’s (honestly my favorite fragrance candles because the throw is amazing and the compositions are stunning), and “Fairy Dust” by Lily Flame, which was sweet, slightly powdery, and super cozy for winter. Then I move into hair and body. I used up my beloved Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (mine was a 75ml) and I’m genuinely out now—so I need to stock up, even though I’m trying to minimize my stash because it has outgrown me. I also finished the Ouai Fine to Medium Hair Treatment Mask, which was really nice and didn’t weigh my straight hair down. For body, I loved the Bath & Body Works Coconut Sandalwood foaming hand soap (it’s just fabulous), plus I used Jamaican Black Castor Oil pure butter in lavender mostly on cuticles and rough patches rather than my hair. Skincare-wise, I had a good lineup: Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm (one of my top cleansing balms ever), a Murad SPF 30 moisturizer for winter, two hydrating 111SKIN products (including the Celestial Black Diamond Brightening Essence), Dermalogica Biolumin-C, Sunday Riley C.E.O., and the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Overnight Eye Serum. Lots of hydration, lots of vitamin C, and a very realistic routine—no 10-step situation here.
