The very first thing I do is grab my coffee and sit out on our back deck for a few minutes of quiet before the chaos starts. Then I jump into the real-life stuff—ordering groceries on my phone (because taking four kids to the store alone in summer is a no), clearing the counters, knocking out dishes, and doing those little resets that make the whole house feel better. I also get really honest about my health journey. I share how I’ve dealt with binge/restrict eating since I was 18, how medications like Zoloft (plus heart meds), perimenopause, and not-so-great habits have played a role in weight gain, and why I’m choosing to start over with movement and healthier eating. I show my workout (weights + steady cardio), my goal of 10,000 steps, and what I’m eating—like my favorite 5-ingredient protein pancake (44g of protein!) and my daily greens drink that I literally just chug. It’s basically like we’re sitting next to each other having coffee and chatting, with a little cleaning, a little fitness, and a whole lot of real life mixed in.
