In this video I’m taking you along for a productive but calming evening routine—real life, real mess, and a whole lot of “non-stop dishes.” After dinner, while my husband and oldest are at soccer practice (he’s coaching this season), it’s me at home with the other three kids, trying to reset the kitchen, tackle counters, and get everything feeling clean and cozy again. I share little behind-the-scenes mom life moments too—like shower night for all four kids, helping my 7-year-old with her hair, and why I usually do voiceovers (because with four kids and a dog… it’s never quiet over here). I also chat about some home stuff I’ve been thinking through, like my honey-orange cabinets that don’t function well and whether I should paint them or just live with them until we can afford a full kitchen renovation. I declutter our “overhang” clutter zone by the sink, knock out laundry (my least favorite chore is folding, hands down), and do a quick dining area reset—plus I share what I’m wanting to change in here, like swapping my black dining table for something lighter since we don’t get a ton of actual sunlight. We end the night with a little fall vibe moment—hot chocolate, cozy energy—while I pretend it’s not still 90 degrees in Michigan.
