Installing A Shift Cable On A Boat - Sunbird Boat Project Part 11 If you watched the stranded on the water episode, then you know about our issue with our shift cable on the Sunbird boat. In today's episode, we're gonna remove the OMC outdrive and replace that cable as well as a few other items that need addressing. Once the drive was removed, I realized the gimbal bearing was much worse than I thought and I found out that this drive is extremely difficult to get on and off!
