Here in Michigan, residents are asking serious questions about data center development, electric grid reliability, water use, farmland, tax incentives, utility costs, and whether local communities are getting enough in return. With data center electricity demand expected to grow dramatically by 2030, this is not just a technology issue — it is a preparedness issue.
