Once seen as a rather basic leisure airline, Condor now operates a modern long-haul fleet made up entirely of Airbus A330neos — featuring a brand-new Business Class cabin. On this flight from Frankfurt to New York JFK, I’m reviewing Condor’s Business Class with a special focus on the Prime Seat in the first row. Condor markets these seats as a premium “Business Class Plus” option, offering more space, additional amenities, and a higher level of comfort — at an extra cost. But is the Prime Seat actually worth the upgrade? How does the seat compare to regular Business Class? And what’s the sleeping experience really like on a daytime long-haul flight? In this full, honest review, I’ll cover: – Condor Business Class on the Airbus A330neo – The Prime Seat concept and whether it delivers real value – Seat comfort, bed mode, and privacy – Catering, service, and onboard experience – Entertainment, Wi-Fi, and amenities – My final verdict: upgrade or skip? 🎥 Watch next We flew back to Europe with Emirates in Business Class — I highly recommend checking out that review next. https://youtu.be/NC55B_p9c-4?si=OZu-nz8B3lKFh9p8 👍 If you enjoyed this video, please like, subscribe, and share your experience in the comments! —————————————————————————— 👇 More points, miles & premium travel content 👇 ▶️ Subscribe on YouTube: https://youtube.com/c/PointsTravelTechAustria?sub_confirmation=1 📱 Instagram (reels, deals & behind the scenes): https://instagram.com/pointstraveltechaustria 🌴 All relevant links & affiliate offers: https://linktr.ee/pointstraveltech 🌐 Website & legal information: https://pointstraveltech.at 📧 Business enquiries: info@pointstraveltech.at —————————————————————————— ℹ️ Disclosure: Some links in the video description or on my Linktree may be affiliate links. About This Video

Condor has pulled off one of the most impressive transformations in recent aviation history, and on this Frankfurt–New York JFK flight I finally got to test their new A330neo Business Class with a special focus on the Prime Seat up front. I’ll walk you through the full journey (including my feeder from Vienna to Frankfurt), lounge access in Frankfurt, and the onboard experience in seat 2A—covering the cabin layout, storage, the big 4K screen, and what actually makes the Prime Seat different (spoiler: it’s mainly the bulkhead ottoman area, not a different seat). I also share my honest take on Prime Seat “Business Class Plus” perks like the exclusive pajamas, amenity kit, mattress topper, and the dedicated snack basket. Catering-wise, I was pretty underwhelmed overall, even though the crew were genuinely excellent—friendly, professional, and engaged. The biggest criticism is bed mode: even with the extra space up front, about two-thirds of the sleeping surface is basically the same width as regular business class, and I personally found it uncomfortable due to a metal bar feeling around hip height. In the end I break down the numbers (€1,530 one-way in business, plus €250 for Prime Seat) and give my verdict: for me, the Prime Seat upgrade wasn’t worth it—though Condor’s overall product consistency on the all-A330neo long-haul fleet is still genuinely impressive.
