In this update I’m finally able to say I’m out of hospital, which is a massive step in the right direction after breaking my leg. It’s not some big ride vlog or gear chat today—just a real-life check-in on where I’m at, how things are going, and what the next bit of the recovery looks like. If you’ve been following along, you’ll know it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, and getting discharged feels like a win even if I’m still not anywhere near back on the bike yet. That said, I’m not out of the woods. I’m still waiting on surgery, so it’s very much a case of fingers crossed and taking things one day at a time. This video is really about keeping it honest: recovery isn’t instant, and it’s not always straightforward, but I wanted to keep you in the loop and say thanks for sticking with me. As soon as I’ve got proper news on the surgery and what that means for rehab and riding again, I’ll share the next update.
