This one’s a proper UK classic: I head out for a cycle ride in the rain… then it rains some more… and just when you think it can’t get any wetter, yep—more rain. It’s one of those rides where you’re not chasing a PB, you’re just trying to keep the wheels turning, keep your head in the game, and accept you’re going to get soaked no matter what you do. I’m out there doing what I always bang on about—showing the real side of riding, not just the sunny highlights. On top of the weather, I’ve also got the joy of another GoPro failure, which is honestly getting a bit too familiar. It’s frustrating because you’re out grafting in grim conditions and the camera decides it’s had enough. Still, I keep rolling—because that’s the point of these vlogs: the ups and downs, the kit that helps (and the kit that lets you down), and finding a bit of motivation even when the forecast is trying to bully you back indoors.
