About This Video

In this video, I’m doing something a little different—I’m asking you what you want to see next on PE4Doers. I’ve got a big backlog of real-world builds and upgrades in motion (servers, networking, studio gear, and a bunch of DIY engineering projects), and I want to prioritize the next set of uploads based on what you’re actually excited to watch and learn from. I walk through my running list of content ideas and the dependencies between them, like finishing Part 2 of my VM server build and Part 2 of my new NAS server build, then potentially converting my XigmaNAS box over to TrueNAS once the NAS build path is locked in. On the studio side, I’m looking at installing new Ubiquiti switches, adding a 10-inch rack, finishing my custom water-cooled super editing rig, and upgrading my streaming workstation. I also throw in a bunch of hands-on maker topics—3D printing workflow for content creation, humidity control for filament storage, adding REOLINK cameras, DIN-mounted industrial control devices, micro-soldering a Raspberry Pi 3B repair attempt, 10Gb fiber cabling, and even some electronics lessons like capacitors and inductors. The takeaway: I’m building a roadmap, and your suggestions decide what hits the bench next.
