Hey everybody—spooky season is officially over, so in this LEGO City update I’m doing the post-Halloween teardown and bringing the city back to life. I’m hauling the display pieces back upstairs, resetting a few key areas, and figuring out where a bunch of new minifigures are actually going to live. I start by getting the Sanderson Sisters gate back out front, then I get the Ghostbusters crew back where they belong by the Firehouse HQ (and yes, I had to move a random shark out of the way first). I also drop Scooby-Doo into the nature area for now and park the Mystery Machine up front so it’s easy to see. After that, I go hard on city population—especially with the Spider-Verse minifigures—so the Daily Bugle/superhero section feels more “busy” and alive. I place characters all over the battle scene, add in a few favorites like Lobster Loving Batman (still one of the funniest figures), and even work in some other pickups like the rare Yondu. I also take a closer look at my Bricks at War/B3 Customs monthly figure (Lafayette), which is cool but honestly not my favorite so far. To wrap it up, I’m doing the real LEGO room work: cleaning, planning, and prioritizing builds. Nightmare Before Christmas doesn’t really belong in my city, so it’s getting boxed up with the winter stuff for now. Next big plans include building the BrickLink Popcorn Wagon, adding another Leviathan, finally tackling more modulars (including the Grand Emporium), and revamping the nature/campground area going into next year.
