Today we’re reviewing the LEGO Ideas Tree House 21318 (2019) one of the most detailed nature-themed LEGO sets ever released 🌲 This build is absolutely fantastic, with layered foliage, detailed cabins, and tons of small touches that really bring the scene to life. It’s going to fit perfectly into our LEGO City nature area and campground, adding height, texture, and a true wilderness feel. While the build itself is excellent, the minifigures are a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the set. The focus here is definitely on the structure and display value rather than the characters. In This Video 🌲 Full build and review of the LEGO Ideas Tree House 🧱 Building details 🍃 Seasonal leaf options and display ideas 🧍 Minifigure breakdown (and why they’re just okay) ⭐ Final thoughts — is it still worth it? Overall, this is an incredible display piece and one of the best sets for expanding a LEGO wilderness scene. 👍 If you enjoyed this video, be sure to leave a like and subscribe! 🔔 Subscribe for awesome new LEGO videos every week! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOMettsQdvrut0U6a-PfzoA?sub_confirmation=1 💎 Click Here to Buy! https://amzn.to/3PvfSNw 📦 Check out our Amazon Affiliate link for suggestions! https://amzn.to/43HsiFe (any sales help me out!) - 🧱 LEGO Videos Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVQhk1p_FiQ&list=PLxLRPIexnk5w_JJ8MGbop2LJfrUsV1A8i 💥 LEGO Shopping Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjgq-GrFyHc&list=PLxLRPIexnk5xgBowJfM9DiGHu_piCoIAw&index=4 🏡 LEGO City Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVQhk1p_FiQ&list=PLxLRPIexnk5yetjnAHCaTPFNzHsdz8SeV 🚘 LEGO Speed Builds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtuK06C2Wso&list=PLxLRPIexnk5yiqEo1idO0kjRxvAxaGmv4 📲 LEGO Shorts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNflOoufB70&list=PLxLRPIexnk5zKyh7Np_Bx4xZnsjnR1E-Y&index=2 - Subscribe on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOMettsQdvrut0U6a-PfzoA Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/oldmountainbricks/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/oldmountainbricks TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@oldmountainbricks Threads - https://www.threads.net/oldmountainbricks X/Twitter - https://twitter.com/OldMtBricks Contact us: oldmountainbricks(at)gmail.com Link Tree - https://linktr.ee/oldmountain From the LEGO Website: Build, display and play with this intricately detailed, 3,036-piece LEGO® Ideas 21318 Tree House playset. A complex build for experienced LEGO builders that all the family will love to play with, it features a landscape base and 3 LEGO tree house cabins—a main bedroom, bathroom and kids’ room. The tree has interchangeable sets of green summer leaf elements and yellow and brown fall leaf elements—these and various plant elements on the base are all made from sustainable-plant-based polyethylene plastic—and the treetop and cabin roofs are removable to allow easy access. The model is packed with play-inspiring features including a buildable picnic table and seats, swing, bonfire, treasure map and hidden gem element to play out a treasure hunt, and a wind-up crane on the balcony of the bedroom cabin. A great birthday gift, this unique creative toy comes with mom, dad and kids minifigures, plus a bird figure, to role-play fun family scenes. It also includes a booklet with building instructions and information about this LEGO Ideas set’s fan creator and LEGO designer. I am NOT sponsored by The LEGO Group or Bricks and Minifigs for this video. Opinions are my own. #LEGO

About This Video

LEGO Ideas sets are some of my favorite LEGO sets ever, and it’s hard to get more iconic than the LEGO Ideas Tree House 21318. In this video I finally crack open my sealed 2019 copy (3,036 pieces) and do a full build and review, including the build process, the play features, and why this set still holds up really well today. I also call out some stuff you just don’t see as much anymore—like the beautiful box design and the fact that this set comes with no stickers. The build starts with a solid Technic core and a MILS-style foundation, then it gets a bit repetitive with the bark and the three cylindrical treehouse rooms. But once you’re into the cabins, the details are packed in: printed elements, clever interior builds (beds, a ship-in-a-bottle print, a little storybook print), and fun features like the working basket-and-gear hoist and the hidden “buried treasure” gem. I also show the seasonal leaf options, and I went with a mixed transition of green and autumn leaves. My big takeaway: the build and display value are absolutely fantastic—this is going to be a killer addition to my LEGO City nature/campground area—but the minifigures are honestly just okay for a 3,000+ piece set. If you’re buying it, you’re buying it for the tree and the scene, not the characters.
