Today I took you with me on a LEGO shopping trip to Bricks & Minifigs in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for a first-time store visit. They’ve only been open about a month or so, but it’s a huge store with a nice selection and a super friendly staff. This is not sponsored—I went in on my own, filmed a full store overview, and gave you my honest thoughts while I browsed everything from current sets and retired sets to display stands, storage, bulk bins, and those glass cases packed with minifigures. As always, I’m personally most interested when we start getting into the retired stuff, and it was cool seeing things like a sealed Corner Garage, BrickLink sets, and all kinds of older themes represented. After the walkthrough, I headed home and showed you the real reason this trip was a win: the minifigure haul. I grabbed a bunch of Disney CMFs for a Disney Castle project (Donald Duck, Huey/Dewey/Louie, Scrooge McDuck, and the OG Maleficent), plus some fun extras like Swimming Pool Batman for my LEGO City beach. I also found some vintage Islanders from 1994 (including King Kahuka), and I made big progress on my spaceman display with the Space Creature (for that purple space torso), along with yellow, orange, and an original vintage blue spaceman from the ’80s. Lots of good plans coming for these figures in the city.
