In Part 2 of my Summer Baby Romper tutorial, I’m picking up right where we left off in Part 1 and walking you through the next steps to get this sweet little romper finished up. This is one of those projects that looks super impressive when it’s done, but it actually works up fast—especially in a DK weight yarn like Premier Basix DK. I designed it to be a great warm-weather make, and it’s totally cute for a baby boy or a baby girl depending on your color choice. I’m calling this an intermediate pattern, but if you’re an advanced beginner and you can follow along with the video, you can absolutely do it. I’ll show you the construction as we go, and I’ll share the little things that make your life easier—like using stitch markers so you don’t lose your place, and having a good yarn needle on hand for finishing. By the end, you’ll be ready to add the buttons, tidy up your ends, and have a handmade romper that’s perfect for summer photos, baby showers, and gifting.
