In this first Boss Queen Weekly Vlog, I’m taking y’all behind the scenes of what it really looks like running multiple online beauty businesses while being a wife and a mom of two. I’m unboxing new marketing materials from Vistaprint—postcards and business cards for Royalty Beauty, Royalty Curls, and Curly Queen Kit—and showing you how I’m using them in every order to level up the customer experience. I also share a big tip: you do not need an expensive photoshoot to have cute branding. A lot of the images you see on my cards came straight from Canva, and I use those same visuals for Instagram content too. I also show my rebranding process for Royalty Beauty, including how I’m upgrading packaging so it feels more luxurious (no more “just a bubble mailer” vibe). I’m using hacks like custom stamps and branded packing tape to save money while still making it look sophisticated. Then I take you into my product development mode—working on a facial oil box label using a supplier template (from Alibaba), printing mockups, and getting my labels in from Leapin Lizard Labels. I end the vlog with a Dollar Tree haul for Curly Queen Kit and my “stock up” mindset—always testing, always sourcing, and always pivoting instead of quitting.
