In today’s video, I’m showing you the “secret” V-Bucks present method that lets you get 1,000 V-Bucks for basically as close to free as possible during Winterfest—about $1. The first thing I do is hit the Item Shop because we got a surprise collab: Batman Beyond. I’m not gonna lie, the Batman skin is super clean with that cartoony comic-book look, and the emote is a banger, so I gift it out to a subscriber (shoutout Piggy Willow). Then I hop into the Winterfest cabin, open a present (Winterfest gift emoticon + Firebor spray), grab the fireplace XP, and we get into the actual method. The workaround is tied to a limited-time holiday promo: you create a free Xbox account, link it to your Epic account, then buy Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with the $1 first-month deal. Since Game Pass Ultimate includes Fortnite Crew, you can launch Fortnite on Xbox—or use Xbox Cloud Gaming if you don’t own an Xbox—and you’ll receive the Crew benefits, including 1,000 V-Bucks. I also explain the important part: cancel the subscription after you get the V-Bucks, because after 30 days it goes back to the normal price and that’s not worth it just for 1,000 V-Bucks.
