Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 just got revealed, and I’m breaking down the new “Showdown” Battle Pass trailer with you guys so you don’t miss a single detail. Then we get into the real hype: the teaser confirms Chapter 7 Season 2 is called “Showdown,” and the whole theme looks like Ice King returning with a new style versus The Foundation. We also get an early look at a brand new Polar Peak POI, and it’s a straight-up upgrade from Chapter 1—bigger castle, bigger presence, and it screams “main storyline location.” The wild part is Foundation is shown frozen in a giant ice cube inside the Ice King’s fortress, so my guess is we’ll be working with the Seven to rescue him. Data miners have already confirmed a new Foundation version is in the Season 2 Battle Pass, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Ice King is in there too since he’s clearly the main antagonist. The one question mark right now is how Dark Voyager’s ship over Lethal Labs ties into all of this—Zero Point stuff maybe—but either way, it’s looking like a banger update.
