Hi there Tam Fam! In this episode of Black in Europe, I’m taking y’all on a little staycation moment and, yes… we’re doing brows again. I went to get my eyebrows microshaded for the fourth time, because at this point I’m determined to get the results I actually want. If you’ve ever had to “spin the block” with a beauty service because the first (or second… or third) try wasn’t giving, then you already understand the mission. I’m sharing the real vibe of doing self-care abroad as a Black woman—what it’s like booking these appointments, showing up hopeful, and still being honest about the process when it hasn’t been consistent. The big takeaway: don’t be afraid to advocate for your face, ask questions, and give yourself permission to try again (with receipts) if the results aren’t right. We’ll see if attempt number four is the one, but either way, you’re coming with me through the whole experience—staycation, brows, and all.
