My American Wife Made Chicken Adobo… Did Filipinos Approve?

After our last Filipino cooking video, let’s just say… the comments had a LOT to say. So this time, we’re trying again — and we’re making one of the most loved dishes in the Philippines: Chicken Adobo / Adobong Manok Trevor has eaten a lot of Filipino food, but now Emmie is jumping in to help cook the Philippines’ national dish after our Sinigang attempt got roasted a little by our Filipino viewers. This time we marinated the chicken, cooked the rice, tried to get the sauce right, and hoped we didn’t completely embarrass ourselves again. But the biggest part of this video is not just the food. At the end, we share something really important to us: we’re starting a project to help get used cell phones to people in the Philippines who need them for work, school, communication, and daily life. A year ago, we were able to give two phones to families in the Philippines, and seeing how much it helped made us want to do more.
