The DPL-09 is a new version, with a larger slot to allow more adjustment, bigger rubber pads, and thus able to fit more camera makers/models bodies . Lengthened camera screw slot ensures it's compatible with more camera models. Bubble levels on horizontal front and back as well as vertical direction for easier photo composition. Index mark engraved on the side of the L-bracket to help find the centre of the lens for easier photo composition.
