This particular model, is made from Aluminium, and features a steel/tungsten hard point for self defence/breaking glass. This makes for quite a nice gift or as a pen which has a secondary use, and it's quite affordable, compared to some of the titanium pens. The pen has a pressurized Schneider refill. As such you can write anytime and anywhere, even underwater, in extremely hot or cold weather and even upside down. The cap is kept in place with the screw thread. The back of the pen is also enhanced with these coarse threads. So when you use the pen you never have to hold the cap, you simply add it to the back of the pen. Because of the rubber O-rings the pen is sealed off and waterproof to make sure it will always stay in great condition. The casing is milled from aluminium with a HA III military hard anodized finish. This makes the pen light-weight, solid and corrosion resistant. The back of the pen has been enhanced with a tungsten steel Rockwell scale (89-92.5HRA) hardened glass breaker.
