This entry model still remains popular today years after it's 2009 release, thanks to it's low price on the used market and simple operation. Many users feel the CCD sensor offers a more "organic" or "vintage/filmic" type look, compared to some newer CMOS offerings. Out of camera look with this model is something some find very appealing.
