How to replace a PCV Valve Peugeot 208 (PureTech/Citroen etc): Quick method

In this quick guide I show you how you can remove, inspect/replace a PCV Valve on a Mk I Peugeot 208 car. The one shown here is applicable for the 1.0 and 1.2 Puretech engines, and also some other Stellantis models such as Citroen C1/C3. You do not have to remove the air filter box, it does give better access to the valve, though it's fairly easy to get to anyway, as I show in detail. It's important to ensure correct operation of the PCV valve, inspect it carefully to make sure it's intact and has no cracks or damage. It's advisable to clean the valve and the housing on the side of the engine. Excessive oil/grease can inhibit the PCV operation or cause leaks.
