About This Video

In this video I’m answering Mary Grace Fahrun’s “13 Real Tarot Questions,” and it turned into one of those sit-down chats that reminds me why I keep coming back to tarot in the first place. I talk through what tarot means to me beyond “getting answers,” and how my practice is really about reflection, pattern-noticing, and giving myself language for what I’m already sensing—especially when I’m feeling stuck, tender, or in a season of change. I loved how these questions nudged me to be honest about what I do (and don’t) use tarot for, and where I think people can get tripped up when they’re looking for certainty instead of clarity. I also have the Terra Botanical Tarot out while I’m filming, because nature-rooted imagery is such a big part of how I read. When I’m working with decks like this, it’s easier for me to slow down, ground into the body, and let symbols unfold like a walk outside—one step at a time. If you’re curious about building a practice that’s more “lived-in” than performative, this is a cozy, thoughtful watch—and I link Mary Grace’s originals (plus a few other related videos) if you want to keep the conversation going.
