This weekly vlog was a real “life lately” catch-up with me balancing nightshift nursing, soft reset vibes, and a little glam. I started my Sunday in bed with Egg Harbor (smoked salmon, grits, pancakes) and one of the best coffees I’ve made in a minute (Les Café Blonde + lacto-free whole milk + oat/almond sugar cookie creamer + salted maple foam). Then it was straight into work mode—shift one of three—packed leftovers (corned beef and rice), water, a protein shake, and a piece of cheesecake for when the sweet tooth hits. After a tough night (heavy patients, restraints, total care, fall risk, combative—whew), I gave y’all a shift recap and did a little unboxing of a portable flosser that kept popping up on my TikTok. Once I finished my three shifts, I went into full recovery mode: nap, pizza, couch potato energy, and catching up on my class discussion because nursing + school is always a juggle. Midweek I put together my mom’s birthday basket (TJ Maxx basket, roses, self-care staples, and a foot massager because she also works 12s). I ended the vlog getting dressed for my 10-year high school reunion—hair 10/10, outfit super cute—and it was honestly so nice seeing everyone as grown adults, confident, and really in love with themselves.
