In this weekly vlog I’m taking y’all through a very realistic “week in my life” as a nurse—night shifts and all—even though I’m not bedside anymore. I’m currently working three 12s at a behavioral health clinic, commuting (yes, still a drive), and trying to stay consistent with my routines: packing my lunch, making my Earl Grey matcha, and keeping my work bag/fanny pack stocked with the essentials (shears, pens, Sharpie, sanitizer… you already know). I also share what I’m eating—simple tuna bowls, salmon bowls, and my go-to yogurt bowl—plus how Shay and I meal prep when we’re really locked in on our goals. On top of work, I’m juggling big “level up” moves: starting advanced pathophysiology in my FNP program (it’s no joke), getting organized with notebooks and handwritten notes, and leaning on a WhatsApp group to make online school feel less like I’m teaching myself in a void. I also give y’all life updates—nurse injector mentorship consults, a med spa interview, and the maintenance resets that keep me feeling like myself (boho braids, deep French nails, white toes, car maintenance). We wrap it up with packing and getting ready to head to Jamaica, because balance is the goal—multiple streams of income, discipline, and still making room for real life.
