Hey y’all—this weekly vlog is basically my “we’re really doing this” moment because I’m officially starting travel nursing. I’m catching you up after a little vlog break and taking you along while I grind through all the pre-assignment stuff: physical, vaccines/immunizations, screenings, and a million modules (literally like 70). I’m also still working and picking up extra shifts because you already know I’m trying to get to the bag, and I’m sharing little life updates like my hair, nails, and getting my travel nurse essentials together. I also show a little behind-the-scenes of my digital product business while I’m in bed working on a custom vlogmas intro for a client. I talk through the inspo, what she asked for (text-only, frosty Christmas vibe, Christmas subscribe button), and how I’m sending a draft for feedback—because that’s really how it goes when you’re building income beyond the bedside. Then we get into my first travel nurse orientation days: day one orientation (badge pickup, hospital overview, packet, and charting intro) and day two Epic training. I share what the day looked like, what I’m doing next (unit orientation on the floor next week), and how I’m balancing it all as a per diem + travel nurse girly while still trying to get back consistent in the gym.
