In this video I’m unboxing and reviewing the Cult Beauty x Lisa Potter-Dixon “The Beauty of Night Edit” (the one that was still in stock when I filmed). It’s £45 with a claimed £180 value, and you get seven products in total, five of them full size. The box is smaller than the usual Cult Beauty edits, but it’s absolutely jam-packed, and I genuinely think it’s been put together so you can create a full makeup look from what’s inside. I swatch as I go and give you my honest thoughts on what’s actually usable. Highlights for me were the 19/99 precision colour pencil in a deep brown (perfect for eyes and lips), the Makeup Forever Artist Color Crayon in Cheeky Fuchsia (bold but blends out really pretty), and the NARS Powermatte lip pencil in American Woman (so creamy, slightly warmer than what I was wearing). I also got Iconic London Prep-Set-Glow (one of my favourites to prep, set, and refresh makeup) and a mini Sculpted by Amy mascara—one of my top three mascaras—so I’m saving that for travelling. I also compare it to the other edit (Art of Everyday), which was already out of stock, and explain why this night edit suited me more. Overall, it’s pricier than some edits, but for me it’s 100% worth it.
