Our 1st Family Hike - Hiking With Kids - Rocky Mountain National Park - Dream Lake - Bear Lake

Follow along with us as we explore all the Rocky Mountains have to offer! This is the second video of our week long trip to Colorado. In this video, you'll see our hikes to Bear Lake, Nymph Lake & Dream Lake - as well as our drive on Trail Ridge Road from Estes Park to Grand Lake. This is such a beautiful area, with the friendliest people & epic views! Unfortunately, we lost some video & audio from our hikes. The loop trail around Bear Lake is wheelchair/stroller accessible, mostly flat & dirt/gravel. The hike to Nymph & Dream Lakes is not accessible for most strollers & wheelchairs. It does have sections of steep inclines, climbing over & up rocks, as well as steep drop-offs. We are beginner hikers & this hike was moderate for us. We enjoyed every second of it, but did take many breaks to rest, catch our breath & have snacks. Remember to eat & pack LOTS of water for your hikes in RMNP. We did not experience Elevation Sickness, but did see a few people who had. Take precautions, go at your pace & if you feel uneasy, stop & rest.
