Join us as we explore our hometown of St. Louis, Missouri! St. Louis is an extremely unique city that holds much history. There is something for everyone here: sports, good eats, family fun, nightlife, historical landmarks & even a National Park! In this episode, we visit Fitz's Rootbeer and the Gateway Arch National Park in Downtown St. Louis! Did you know we have our very own National Park here in St. Louis?! The Gateway Arch National Park sits on 90 acers in the heart of St. Louis. The Arch, standing at 630 feet, was completed February 12th, 1963 & was deemed a National Park in 2018. This monument has been a staple for us here in Missouri our whole lives - I always loved traveling downtown & looking for The Arch in the skyline. If you plan to travel to the top of the arch - purchase your tram tickets BEFORE you arrive (link bleow) - they sell out quickly! We also visited Fitz's Rootbeer in University City, on the Delmar Loop. They are known for their house made rootbeer & other flavored sodas - and of course their rootbeer floats!! The highlight for us was watching the soda being bottled right from our table! Such a unique & family friendly experience! Check back often for videos highlighting our trips, as well as tips for packing, gear reviews & how to family camp on a budget! Don't forget to Like & Subscribe! We appreciate YOU!
