If you follow the weather in Missouri, this was the weekend after Easter when most of Missouri had severe weather, including hail, 97+MPH winds as well as a few tornados. Thankfully, Finger Lakes wasn't effected too badly by the storms - but they did get heavy rain which made the riding trails VERY muddy! About This Video

In this video I head just north of Columbia, Missouri to Finger Lakes State Park with my dad and my nephew for a quick trip that’s all about one thing: ATV and dirt bike riding. If you’ve got an ATV or a dirt bike, this place is honestly heaven. The trails are tight (there’s a 56-inch max width), and after riding them myself I can confirm you do not want to bring a side-by-side back there. I do a campground review and a drive-through so you can see what you’re getting. The campground setup is pretty basic state park stuff: concrete back-in sites, picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets nearby, and one shower house serving two loops plus tent campers. There’s a dump station on site, but no water/sewer hookups at the sites—electric is only in loops 1 and 2. I also share a few tips to make your trip better, like filling your fresh tank before you park and using the main trail from the campground to the motocross area to get your bearings. And fair warning: after heavy rain, the clay turns into nasty, saturated quicksand mud—four-wheelers do okay, but bikes can get sketchy fast.
