About This Video

In this video I’m sharing a campsite review of Site #42 at Cottonwoods RV Park in Columbia, Missouri—plus a full drive-through tour so you can see what the park is really like. Our weekend turned a little rainy (bummer), but I still wanted to show you the layout, the vibe, and what you’re actually getting for the price. The biggest thing to know up front: the sites are extremely tight. On our spot, our slide was basically right up against the neighbor’s picnic table, and you can see just how close everything is. That said, Cottonwoods pays off in other ways. Most sites are pull-through, which I love—especially when you roll in tired or after dark and don’t want to mess with backing in. It’s full hook-up, and we paid about $50/night, which felt a little expensive considering how close the sites are, but the cleanliness, customer service, and amenities really helped balance that out. I also walk through the laundry room (air conditioned, comfy sitting area, and easy pricing) and check out the bathrooms/showers, which were honestly really nice and reminded me of a clean KOA-style setup. If you want a small, quiet, super clean park that’s close to town and right off the highway, this is a solid option—as long as you’re okay being close to your neighbors.
