My dad died of a sudden heart attack at 51 years old. No symptoms. No warning. I've lived with the nagging feeling that the same could happen to me, and over the last several years, I've learned two things that could potentially save lives: 1. What to test for, and 2. How “good” results can sometimes hide real risk This video is not medical advice. I’m not a doctor. I’m sharing my personal experience, the testing path that finally gave me clarity, and the information I wish someone had clearly explained to me much earlier. Heart disease affects a massive percentage of the population—and we now know it often begins decades before symptoms ever appear. My hope is that this video encourages more proactive testing, better questions, and earlier action—especially for those with family history. What this video covers: - Why a “normal” checkup can miss early heart disease - The difference between calcified plaque and soft plaque - Why a calcium score of zero doesn’t always mean “no risk” - How newer imaging and AI analysis changed my understanding - The lifestyle and medical categories I focused on after getting better information - Who should seriously consider testing—and when I’ve added resources below that were helpful to me. If you have questions, leave them in the comments and I’ll do my best to respond. Take care. Important disclaimer: This video is for informational purposes only and reflects my personal experience. It is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions.
