About This Video

In this Feb 2025 reptile room tour, I’m taking you enclosure-by-enclosure through the room and showing what’s changed since the last update. This is the first full tour of the year, so I’m hitting everything from the larger setups (like my big Histos) all the way through some of the smaller, more specialized projects—frogs, geckos, snakes, turtles, lizards, and a few species that don’t get enough spotlight. If you like seeing how I actually house animals long-term—what’s working, what I’m tweaking, and why I set things up the way I do—this one’s for you. I walk through a ton of species and builds: Thai bamboo ratsnake, Oophaga pumilio “Bahia Grande,” beaded geckos, black-breasted leaf turtles, grass lizards, chahoua geckos (including a baby), mourning geckos, a new baby tortoise, Savu python, fish-scaled geckos, Mexican giant tree frogs, dart frogs, a northern blue-tongued skink, Uromastyx geyri, Sonora genus snakes, baby black-headed cat snakes, baby hognoses, and a Fijian banded iguana. The big takeaway is the same as always: natural lives first—dialing in husbandry, using smart enclosure choices, and keeping things practical to maintain while still letting the animals thrive.
