About This Video

In this video I’m at NARBC Tinley Park 2025—one of the biggest reptile expos on the planet—and I’m basically on a mission to find the rarest, weirdest, and most “you don’t see that every day” animals I can. I start with a quick expo intro and montage, then I bounce table to table checking out some seriously wild stuff like a shingleback skink, a false habu viper, and Ptyas major over at Exotic Empire. From there I keep the pace moving with more standout species, including African house snakes and some awesome turtles, plus I link up with friends in the hobby for quick interviews and reactions as we go. A big part of Tinley for me is seeing what’s trending in husbandry and what people are actually using behind the scenes, so I also check out new caging/rack offerings (including a new Vision product) and talk through pickups with a few people—what they grabbed, why they grabbed it, and what they’re planning long-term. If you’re into naturalistic, up-to-date care and you like seeing rare species in person, this is a full expo walkthrough that’s equal parts “look at this animal” and “here’s how keepers are thinking about their setups right now.”
