In this one I’m taking you down into Logan’s reptile basement to tour one of the coolest private setups I’ve seen—starting with the headline enclosure: a truly giant, roughly 1500-gallon, 10-foot-ish build for a blue beauty ratsnake. I’m always looking at these builds through a “natural lives first” lens, and this place is packed with big, functional habitats that actually let the animals use space, climb, hide, and behave like they’re supposed to. After that, we bounce through a lineup of reptiles and amphibians that covers a little bit of everything—red foot tortoises, a pixie frog, a Colorado River toad, and a poison frog rack, plus more snakes like Chinese beauty ratsnakes. There are also some wild highlights like keel-bellied lizards, tokay geckos, and the “Great Wall of Spood.” The other jaw-dropper is the massive mourning gecko vivarium (seriously, it’s on another level), and we wrap the tour with more big personalities like a green iguana.
