I Tried a Primitive Fishing Method for the First Time

Today I’m hiking deep into the Blue Ridge Mountains to try a primitive fishing method for the very first time — handlining. No rod, no reel… just a simple line, hook, and weight. This trip took me miles down a rugged creek to a hidden waterfall, where I attempted to catch wild trout using nothing but a handline.
