In this video, I walk you through an OpenClaw Hostinger setup from absolute zero to a working AI assistant you can message from your phone. Next, I connect OpenClaw to an AI model using an Anthropic Claude API key. I create the key inside the Anthropic console, and I also explain why I prefer adding $40 credit up front—during setup you can burn through tokens fast, and if you hit limits the bot may stop responding without a clear error. After that, I log into the OpenClaw dashboard, confirm the connection status is green, and complete the onboarding chat so it saves your identity into SOUL.md for consistent future conversations. Finally, I set up Telegram via BotFather, paste the bot token into OpenClaw, pair it with the code, and test messaging end-to-end.
