In this makeover, I finally tackle it the way I always do in a small space: deep clean first, then organize, then decorate with renter-friendly hacks that don’t require painting. I declutter the shoe situation with an affordable Amazon shoe cabinet (there was even a coupon at checkout when I grabbed it), and I show you how I upgraded it to look more high-end. I also do my favorite kind of “why didn’t I do this sooner” hack: covering a hideous boob light using a plant basket for a softer, prettier look. And for the fun statement moment, I DIY a faux grass accent wall to bring in texture and make the tiniest entry feel intentional. If you’re working with a small apartment or rental, this is proof you can still have a functional, styled entryway on a budget.
