Welcome to Episode 1 of my Tiny House Makeover Series, and we’re kicking things off with an extreme bedroom makeover in a seriously small space. This room had old wood-paneled walls and tired flooring, so I went straight into “budget-friendly but elevated” mode. Because this is a rental, I focused on updates that make a huge visual impact without major expenses—paint, vinyl plank flooring, and a whole lot of TLC. I leaned hard into that French Country Cottage vibe I’ve been loving—cozy, soft, and timeless, but still practical for tiny home living. I also relied on Facebook Marketplace and thrift stores to keep costs down while still making the room feel intentional and curated. The big takeaway: you don’t need a massive budget (or a massive room) to create a space that feels fresh, calm, and pulled together.
