About This Video

In this video, I’m building my March TBR in the most chaotic, cozy way possible: I let a prompt jar choose my reads. I go prompt by prompt and basically turn it into a super chatty book hangout—because once I start talking about potential picks, I cannot stop. March is one of those months where I’m genuinely thrilled for what I have planned, and I wanted the TBR to feel like a little seasonal reset: fresh, fun, and very “let’s romanticize our reading life.” As I pull prompts, I talk through the vibes I’m craving and the kinds of stories I want to sink into—fantasy, literary fiction, romance, mystery, short story collections, and contemporary novels all make an appearance. I also get into how I think about choosing books when there’s a ton of buzz on BookTube and TikTok, and why I still like having a loose structure (the jar) while giving myself permission to mood-read. The takeaway: you can make a TBR that’s both intentional and playful—and ideally you’ll leave with at least one new title to add to your own list.
