Hello everyone—this vlog is my Day 2 in Penang, and also the last day of 2025 for me because in the evening we’re leaving for Kuala Lumpur to celebrate New Year there. I start my morning in George Town, just walking around, soaking in the vibe, listening to live instrument music on the streets, and clicking photos everywhere because the streets and wall paintings are honestly so beautiful. I kept looking for something to buy (I even wanted a magnet), but somehow I didn’t really feel like buying much—George Town is more about the experience and pictures for me. After that, I tried to fit Penang Hill into our tight schedule, but we realized the train ride up wasn’t possible in the time we had. So we explored around, took photos, and then had lunch at a super pretty seaside cafe (Bath 2 Cafe) with such a peaceful view. We ordered matcha coffee, nasi goreng (best quick option), and a chicken croissant—everything tasted so good, even though we had to eat fast. Then we took a long car ride to Kuala Lumpur with a crazy long tunnel, rain that started pouring, and heavy New Year’s Eve traffic. Finally, we reached our Platinum Suites (The Face Suites), loved the big apartment and the view, and celebrated Happy New Year 2026 from the 51st-floor sky deck with fireworks and then a quick look at the late-night party scenes—while also missing my mom and dad a lot.
