In this video I’m doing a proper little techo kaigi for 2026—aka my journal lineup—and walking you through the exact notebooks (and one planner) I picked for the year. I share what each book is for, because I’m very much a “right tool for the right vibe” person: weekly memory keeping in a Traveler’s Company Passport Weekly, daily memory keeping in a Midori 1 Day 1 Page, and my main illustrated journaling home in the Point Of View Daily Duo Diary. Then we get into the fun supporting cast: a TN Regular and a Midori A5 slim for creative journaling and introspection, plus a few very specific Midori A5 slim roles (scribbly sketchbook, ink journal). I also show what I’m using for on-the-go sketching (Paper Republic Pocket), a storytelling/commonplace-style book (Hobonichi A5 grid notebook), and a “nice” sketchbook moment (Midori A5 Thick).
