This man's room makeover has been long overdue. Had a lot of fun filming this one! If you enjoyed it, hit the like button and stay tuned for PART 2. Omnidesk, if you're watching... Please boss. This man's desk is the most outrageously hideous thing. You would not only be doing a favour to this humble and beautiful fellow, but also a true service to the individuals who had to endure looking at it. About This Video

I pulled up to Kyle’s place (and yes, he definitely didn’t come out to help me with the gear) to do what was long overdue: turn his ugly ass uni room into something that actually feels cinematic. His vibe was clear—dark, moody, and a bit more like my desk setup style—so I built the whole plan around that. The room was cramped and awkward, so the first move was reclaiming space: that pointless gap between the bed and the wall had to go, and we re-oriented the desk to break the room into three zones—workstation, sleeping area, and a proper lounge corner. Then we hit IKEA, ate first because we were starving, and tried to keep the whole makeover under control. The goal budget was around $1500–$2000, and we landed just under $1500 (which… hurt, it stung a little). We built two RUDSTA display cabinets, a lounge chair, and a MALM bedside drawer, then added small details like the pegboard to make the “camera section” and decor feel intentional. The reveal was a huge improvement—but I’m not done. Part 2 is where we sort the actual desk setup, and yes, I’m still begging Omnidesk because that desk is outrageously hideous.
