I wanted to jump in quick and ask you guys something, because you’re part of this channel just as much as I am. Lately I’ve been absolutely swamped—work, camping, traveling, editing, taking care of the property, and spending time with the kids—so I’ve been thinking hard about how to mix a little business with pleasure without changing what this channel is all about. Here’s the idea: I’m considering building another deck out in the field—about a 16x6—so we’ve got a nice flat, clean spot for summer tent nights with the kids (less ticks, less uneven ground), star-gazing, and just hanging out. But the bigger reason is I want to bring back more gear reviews like I used to—tents, wood stoves, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, and demonstrations. I’m talking controlled side-by-side comparisons on a level surface, leaving tents up for a week, and testing them through rainstorms and windstorms. And just to be crystal clear: the channel isn’t changing. It’ll still be the cinematic camping adventures—I’m just thinking of adding one or two extra review videos per week if you guys actually want it.
