We had just gotten back into town, so I needed to restock on fresh produce and some easy staples for a family of four, but I also grabbed a few seasonal goodies that just make the week feel fun. My total at ALDI was $121.72, and I walk you through everything from fruits (bananas, berries, apples) to lunch stuff (deli meat, cucumbers, baby carrots) and quick snacks I keep on hand for me and the kids. I also sprinkled in a few mini reviews of what we’ve been loving—like the chewy bar variety pack Jackson has been tearing up, the breakfast breads (we loved pumpkin and cranberry lemon, so I grabbed gingerbread for this week), and a new-to-me seasonal canoli dip flavor to try with apples. For meals, I’m keeping it super realistic: tacos, pasta (with zucchini boats for me), takeout one night, oven-baked chicken wings, and then easy weekend options like burgers, dino nuggets, and pizza on our busy church day. It’s all about budget-friendly, simple family meals that still feel cozy for Christmas season.
