I’m staying at the Four Seasons Montréal (such a perfect central spot), and I do a little room tour because the vibes were unreal: super comfy bed, ambient lighting that makes everything feel extra cozy, and a coffee bar with Lavazza that I genuinely loved. I also brought Piper along, and yes—she fully enjoyed her luxury stay (this dog is bougie, okay?). We start out exploring Mile End, which felt like the trendy, local neighborhood energy I was hoping for. I pop into Joie de Livre (the bookstore that’s been all over TikTok), and it was such a vibe—there was even this medieval Irish-type music playing in the background. Then I wander into some stationery and vintage/thrift-style shops before heading over to Old Montréal. It was quieter and colder than I planned for (I did not dress appropriately), but it made the cozy “duck into shops to warm up” experience kind of perfect. To end the day, I grab dinner on Saint Paul Street—major Parisian/European vibes—and I share my restaurant rec (pesto pasta with sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts, and Kalamata olives = perfect touch). We finish with a cozy Indigo browse where I geek out over French editions and talk about wanting to brush up on my French, plus my current reading mood (I miss fantasy, but trope-heavy books have me reaching for more fiction lately).
