Hi my sweet cozy queens—this video is basically a cozy little “days in my life” vlog, but with a real-time camera test baked in. I’m putting the brand new DJI Osmo Nano through its paces while I do normal life stuff: working on a top-secret brand concept, making my at-home coffee (no latte art skills were harmed), doing a self-care night routine, reading on my Kindle, and then heading out to the bookstore on new release Tuesday. I test a bunch of angles as I go—vlogging, POV shots, the magnetic mount on random surfaces (yes, my door), a suction cup mount on my mirror, and the car mount while driving. After three days of using it, I sit down and share my honest first impressions as a content creator who just wants an easy, user-friendly camera with great auto settings. My biggest tips: turn down the texture/sharpness (I set mine to -2 because it looked a little too “fake”), and I prefer filming in 10-bit color instead of DLOG so it looks good straight out of the box. I do think it can wash me out a bit compared to my DJI Osmo Pocket 3, so I add warmth in post, but overall the portability, stability (without a gimbal!), and subtle-in-public vibe make it a really fun addition to my camera family.
