🖋️ 🤔 Which BENU nib is right for you? Comparing BENU with Kaweco, Lamy, Pilot, Sailor, TWSBI

Hi friends! This week, I’m comparing BENU’s fine, medium, and broad Schmidt #6 steel nibs against each other and eleven other pen brands and nib sizes, including: - Kaweco Sport (fine - silver trim) - Kaweco Sport (fine - gold trim) - Kaweco Brass Sport (broad) - Lamy Safari (extra-fine) - TWSBI Eco (extra-fine - bronze trim) - Pilot Prera (fine - steel) - Pilot Custom 823 (14k) - Pilot Vanishing Point (fine - 18k) - Pilot Vanishing Point (medium - 18k) - Sailor Pro Gear Slim (extra-fine - 14k) - Sailor Pro Gear Slim (fine - 14k) We’ll do a live writing sample of the BENU nib sizes, and then I’ll show you line comparisons of all the pens listed above and a longer writing sample of each of them. To help standardize the nib comparisons, I’ve inked all pens up with Pilot Iroshizuku Kon Peki. Writing samples were completed on Sanzen 52 gsm and Midori / MD paper. I hope this video can be a helpful resource for anyone interested in the BENU pens and is trying to decide between the nib sizes. I had a lot of fun comparing the pens in this way and seeing how different Kon Peki looks depending on what pen it’s inked in!
