Welcome back to my channel! We have finished moving into our new home and have had some time to live in the space before making any changes. Season 2 of Home Takes Time will be all about taking our time to slowly make our house feel like our home. After several months of working on making over our kitchen, I’m really excited to share how it’s looking now. Our kitchen is in one of the darkest corners of our home with very little natural light. All of our cabinet doors and drawer fronts were glossy white laminate and while it did help to bounce off light, it felt cold and uninviting against the black granite countertops. We didn’t have the budget to renovate the entire kitchen, so I decided to use paint, wallpaper, and oak pole wrap to warm up the space. Now the kitchen is one of our favourite spaces to be in!
